Submit a lead
Refer someone you've actually talked to.
A referral works because someone trusts you enough to take the call. We'll ask a few questions to make sure that's what this is.
Who is this lead for?
Both are welcome. The questions differ, so we ask up front.
How do you know them?
This tells the vendor how to open the conversation.
What made you think of this vendor?
This is the part that matters most. It's what tells us this is a real referral rather than a guess.
A sentence or two is plenty. "She mentioned the west-facing windows make the living room unusable by 4pm."

Who are you referring?
We share these details with the vendor, and with nobody else.
Optional on purpose. We ask vendors to start with email unless someone has asked to be called.

Does they know you're doing this?
The vendor will reach out directly, and will mention that you referred them. If that's a surprise, the conversation goes badly for both of you.
We share their name, contact details and what you've written here with the vendor — and with nobody else. They can ask us to delete their details at any time.
Have you contacted them yet?
One rule for submitting yourself: do it before you get in touch. Once you've asked for a quote you're already their customer, so TransparenC didn't bring you and there's nothing for the vendor to share back.
You can still submit — it just won't earn a reward.
Since you've already been in touch, this isn't a transaction TransparenC brought them, so there's nothing for the vendor to share.
You're welcome to submit anyway if you'd like it tracked, and you'll still see the impact record when it completes. Next time, submit first and you'll earn on it.
What are you looking for?
This becomes the vendor's working brief, so detail helps you.

Optional — it helps the vendor scope the job, and it's what we'd base a reward estimate on.
How rewards work
You earn twice, and we'll show you both.
Points — when the vendor accepts your lead as a real, new opportunity. Usually a day or two. Once they accept, the points are yours whether or not a deal ever closes.
Cash back — when the transaction actually completes. That's the bigger number, and it takes longer, because it depends on a real deal closing.
You'll see your lead move through all five stages, so you're never wondering where it stands. When it's time to get paid you can take it as cash or direct it to the impact fund — either way we'll show you what the transaction created across all seven stakeholder categories.
Reward rates aren't set yet. We're still finalising them with our first vendors. We'll tell you your exact rate before anything is owed, and you're never committed to buying anything.
Your details
So we can tell you what happens next.
Check this over
This is exactly what the vendor will see.
Let's hold off on this one.
It sounds like you haven't talked to them about this yet. That's not a problem — it just means this isn't a referral yet.
Talk to them first. If they're interested, come back and we'll have this saved for you.
TransparenC isn't a lead list.
A referral works because someone trusts you enough to take the call. If you don't know this person — or you've never spoken — a cold introduction wastes the vendor's time and won't land well.
If you'd like to work with this vendor yourself, you can submit your own lead instead.
Your lead has been submitted.
Demo: this is a preview build with no backend connected, so nothing was actually sent to the vendor. Your entries were saved in this browser only.
